Colin is a co-founder of Baillie Baillie, and a passionate advocate for sustainable design. He's a member of the RIBA Council, a Trustee at Kyle & Lochalsh Community Trust, and External Examiner at Scott Sutherland School of Architecture. He has contributed to Alder Magazine, and the RIAS Quarterly as a writer and critic, and has taught as a studio tutor at the University of Strathclyde and the University of Dundee.
Megan co-founded Baillie Baillie with Colin in 2019. She is a highly experienced architect with a passion for historic buildings, and has successfully delivered a number of heritage and retrofit projects involving complex existing buildings. Throughout a recent period of maternity leave, Megan has retained an oversight of all work produced by the studio, and maintains a high level strategic role within the practice.
Tom is a highly valued and longstanding member of the Baillie Baillie team. He is a fully qualified architect and brings a passion for craft and detail to his design work. Since joining in 2020, he has been involved in almost every project that the studio has produced, and now independently oversees complex projects from inception to completion. He leads our internal Quality Management review processes, as well as overseeing junior staff members in the Glasgow studio.
Rob joined Baillie Baillie in 2025 and has quickly established himself as an integral member of the team. His design work is deeply rooted in material exploration, and combines strong organisational thinking with a sensitivity to material, space, and atmosphere. Before joining Baillie Baillie, Rob worked in Barcelona with Barozzi Veiga, and studied under Anne Holtrop at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, as an exchange semester during his studies at the Mackintosh School of Architecture.
